HPCbeam and HPCcolumn were developed by Nils-Gustav Svensson (Svecon = Svensson Construction AB) in 2001-2002. HPC beam has a European patent protection.

Nils-Gustav Svensson sold the company 2008. In connection with this Svensson Construction AB was renamed to Svecon Steel AB and with new staff the office moved to Helsingborg.
